We can take you to Japan this winter 2022-2023

Dear Customers,

Thank you for your current booking at Hakuba Canadian Lodge.

You may already be aware that Prime Minister Kishida announced that Japan will abolish many Covid border controls from October 11. Kishida said individual visitors would be allowed and Japan would reintroduce visa waivers. The daily limit on arrivals to Japan will also be lifted.

You will be no longer required to obtain a tourist visa to come to Japan! You also don’t need to join a package tour or book your flights through a travel agent any more. You are free to travel to Japan individually.

It has been 3 years since Japan closed its borders to tourists due to the pandemic.
We look forward to seeing you all at Hakuba Canadian Lodge this winter.
